Luke 4:18

Thank you for your donations for our clothing and toy drive. As a school we collected over 600 lbs for donation! We have many initiatives planned for the spring, including collaborating with the Eco Club for “We Go Green” and “We Walk for Water”. Stay tuned for more details!

Swim to Survive

The Grade 3 students participated in the Lifesaving Society’s “Swim to Survive Program” at Angus Glen Community Centre. Swim to Survive provides training in three essential skills needed to survive an unexpected fall into deep water. The Grade 3 students attended this program on February 19th, 26th and March 5th.

Speedstacking

This year’s Speedstacking Competition will be held on Saturday, May 4th, at Bur Oak Secondary School. Students from SK – Grade 8 who were interested will be participating. We look forward to another great event. Thank you to Mrs. Johnston and Mrs. Addorisio for providing this opportunity to our students!

Intermediate Science Challenge

Several Grade 7 & 8 students have started preparing for the “Let’s Talk Science Challenge” at York University. “Let’s Talk Science Challenge” is a team-based competitive enrichment event offered for Grade 6 – 8 students by “Let’s Talk Science” outreach volunteers across Canada. St. Julia Hockey

Congratulations go out to the Intermediate Hockey Team for defending their title as Champions of the 2nd Annual Jayhawks Invitational Hockey Tournament!
