Congratulations go out to the Intermediate Hockey Team for defending their title as Champions of the 2nd Annual Jayhawks Invitational Hockey Tournament!
The team went undefeated in round robin play and went on to play St. Brendan in the final. In each and every game all members of the team showed grit and determination to get the job done. In the final game this was most evident as the team battled back from a 5 – 3 deficit going into the third period to come out victorious at the final buzzer, beating St. Brendan 6 – 5.
A special shout out goes to Alex D. who stepped up to help St. Joseph between the pipes. Coaches: C. Boushel, J. Hinves, A. Schnurr, J. Testani and Tournament Convenor A. Sanderson could not be more proud of this group who, came together as a team and played four fantastic games!
