Math Olympics

The Grade 7 & 8 students are meeting several times a week to practice challenging math problems. A team of four will be chosen from the group to represent St. Julia at the Y4MA Intermediate Math Olympics held on April 24th at Middlefield Collegiate.

Budding Scientists

The Budding Scientists will be meeting after school on Wednesdays to experiment making silly putty, explore gravity and use a variety of science tools. It promises to be a great experience for our students involved. Thank you to Mrs. Weldon for providing this opportunity for our students.

Eco News

Our Eco Club members continue to encourage proper sorting of our recycling and food waste into the proper bins. We will be starting Waste-Free Wednesdays to cut back on food waste and packaging. Students are encouraged to bring a litter-free lunch to school and any waste should be brought home. Please help your child in packing their lunch with reusable containers and cutlery! We will ... Thank you for your donations for our clothing and toy drive. As a school we collected over 600 lbs for donation! We have many initiatives planned for the spring, including collaborating with the Eco Club for “We Go Green” and “We Walk for Water”. Stay tuned for more details!
